I’m writing to let you know that we’ve received notice of the first City Council meeting to discuss the proposed American Rescue Plan Act budget. The Providence City Council’s Finance Committee will meet tonight, Thursday, January 27 at 5:30 PM. This meeting is being held virtually, and you can join the Zoom meeting or watch the meeting live on YouTube (if you have any trouble with these links, you can also find them on the meeting agenda).
The City of Providence’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Policy have been invited to provide an overview of the proposed ordinance. In addition, the agenda includes a discussion of the COVID-19 Recovery and Resiliency Task Force’s report. To view the full agenda, please click here.
